🌠 How To Start Surah Taubah

Imam Ibnu Hajar, Syeikh al-Khatib dan Imam al-Syatibi mengatakan haram membaca Basmalah di permulaan surah al-Taubah dan makruh di pertengahan. Untuk menggantikan bacaan basmalah pada awal surat ini, biasanya beberapa mushof menyertakan bacaan ta’awudz yang khusus untuk mengawali surat ini. Bacaan Ta’awudz tersebut adalah sebagai berikut :

Ala-Maududi. (9:80) (O Prophet), it is all the same whether or not you ask for their forgiveness. Even if you were to ask forgiveness for them seventy times, Allah shall not forgive them. That is because they disbelieved in Allah and His Messenger; and Allah does not bestow His Guidance on such evil-doing folk.

While they both were in the cave, he reassured his companion, 1 “Do not worry; Allah is certainly with us.”. So Allah sent down His serenity upon the Prophet, supported him with forces you ˹believers˺ did not see, and made the word of the disbelievers lowest, while the Word of Allah is supreme. And Allah is Almighty, All-Wise.

This honorable Surah (chapter 9) was one of the last Surahs to be revealed to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Al-Bukhari recorded that Al-Bara' said, "The last Ayah to be revealed was, (They ask you for a legal verdict. Say: "Allah directs (thus) about Al-Kalalah.") 4:176, while the last Surah to be revealed was Bara'ah."

Surah Taubah is a Madni Surah, revealed in the last period of the Prophet’s life. In terms of its content, it is a continuation of the previous Surah, Surah Anfal. This is probably why Bismillah Rahman Raheem was not revealed or written at the beginning of this Surah, unlike normal Surahs. . 35 312 274 60 382 47 256 65
